We want to take a moment to thank everyone for continuing to trust in FSA. We know that the performing arts fills different needs for everyone and we are working hard to ensure that we are able to continue to meet those needs.
As the news continues to circulate about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to assure you that we are paying close attention to any updates from the CDC and World Health Organization and we are monitoring the climate within our local communities. We are sure that you have received many emails from schools and other organizations regarding COVID-19 and their courses of action. We wanted to take a brief moment to update you about what we are doing and what you can do to help.
FSA would like to reassure the families we serve that we have every intention of trying to stay open, but possibly re-arrange our schedule to have less people in the building at once. The safety of our students, families, and staff is ALWAYS our main priority. We plan to continue all policies and procedures we have in place regarding illnesses:
– we disinfect areas multiple times each day including ballet barres, tumbling mats, props, door handles, reception desk, sinks, toilets, pianos, etc.
– we highly encourage students to use the bathroom (and wash hands) prior to class.
– we have many bottles of hand sanitizer placed throughout the building including waiting rooms and the studios.
What you can do to help ensure the health and wellness of the FSA community:
-If you aren’t feeling well, please stay home from class.
-Wash your hands frequently.
-Keep hands out of mouth and nose and avoid touching your face or rubbing your eyes.
-We always make sure our students are safe. So if parents do not want to sit in the lounge, feel free to sit in your car, run errands, or take a walk while your child is in class since we know the building does get crowded.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support as we all move through this experience together.
We are now closed for Spring Break and will re-evaluate again in a few days.
